What is Brewsmith Coffee Roasters?
Brewsmith Coffee Roasters (BREWSMITH SDN. BHD.) is a specialty coffee roaster and café in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, established in 2017. We roast every coffee in small batches on a Stronghold roaster, with one aim: not to alter what's in the bean, but to unlock it.
Where is Brewsmith located?
Brewsmith's roastery and café is at C-1-12 Block C, The Lakefront, Persiaran Southkey 1, Kota Southkey, 80150 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
What are the café's opening hours?
Brewsmith's café is open Tuesday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. We're closed on Mondays.
What can I order at the café?
Brewsmith's café serves specialty coffee made with our own freshly roasted beans, alongside house-made desserts.
Is Brewsmith connected to an AeroPress Champion?
Brewsmith was founded by the 2015 Malaysian AeroPress Champion. That same focus on precise, repeatable brewing shapes how we roast every batch today.

Buying beans
What's the difference between your filter and espresso beans?
Brewsmith's filter beans are light-roasted single origins in 200g bags, with lots from Kenya, Nicaragua and Ethiopia (2026 crop). Our espresso single origins are medium-roasted, in 500g and 1kg bags, from Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Both are available whole bean or ground for espresso, V60 or French press.
How fresh is your coffee?
Every Brewsmith order ships within 3 days of roasting. We roast in small batches, so your coffee reaches you at its peak.
What payment methods does the website accept?
Brewsmith's website currently accepts Touch 'n Go. More payment options are coming soon.
Shipping & returns
How long does delivery take in West Malaysia?
Brewsmith deliveries to West Malaysia usually take 1–2 business days, and every order ships within 3 days of roasting. Orders of RM100 or more ship free anywhere in Malaysia; below that, shipping is charged at live courier rates, calculated at checkout.
Do you deliver to East Malaysia and Singapore?
Brewsmith ships to East Malaysia and Singapore. Delivery times vary by courier and destination, and are shown at checkout or confirmed when you enquire.
What is your returns policy?
Brewsmith accepts returns only for items that arrive damaged, leaking or wrong, reported within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll then send a replacement or give you a refund.
Wholesale & cafés
Do you supply coffee beans to cafés and businesses?
Brewsmith supplies cafés, restaurants, hotels and offices across Malaysia with freshly roasted espresso and filter coffee. Wholesale pricing is on enquiry, and we also help with equipment supply, SOPs and staff training.
What is the minimum order for wholesale?
Brewsmith's wholesale minimum order varies by business. Contact us on WhatsApp (018-771 6717) or at hi@brewsmithcoffee.com to discuss your needs.
Can you create a custom blend for my business?
Brewsmith develops custom blends for cafés and businesses. Each blend is roasted in small batches on our Stronghold to the same exacting standards as our own coffees.
Events & training
Do you provide coffee for events?
Brewsmith's Mobile Coffee Bar provides specialty coffee catering for weddings, private events and corporate events. Pricing is on application.
Do you offer barista training?
Brewsmith offers consultancy for cafés and businesses. Consultancy covers staff training, SOPs and equipment supply.
Stronghold roasters
Is Brewsmith the Stronghold distributor in Malaysia?
Brewsmith is the official Malaysia distributor for Stronghold coffee roasters, supplying the S2, S7 Pro, S7X, S8X and S9X. We roast all our own coffee on Stronghold too.
Can I see a Stronghold roaster before I buy?
You can see the Stronghold S7X and S9X at Brewsmith's roastery in Johor Bahru. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a visit.
What's included when I buy a Stronghold roaster from Brewsmith?
Every Stronghold roaster bought from Brewsmith includes installation and carries a 1-year warranty on manufacturer defects (excluding wear and tear). S7 models are supplied with a Hz converter for Malaysian power.
